Ada Horn Watercolors

I’m Ada Horn, an artist shaped by many cultures and many colors. Growing up with Burmese and Chinese parents, I was taught to be obedient and quiet. It wasn't until later years I found my voice, the liberating power of artistic expression through painting.

My life's journey has taken me from Burma to Singapore, England, Germany, the US, and France. It was in the French Alps I first experienced the wonders of painting watercolors en plein aire.

I eventually found my true home on Maui, an enchanting island in the vast ocean and the interplay of vibrant colors between the sun and the sea.

Painting with watercolors is a Zen experience , a meditation practice.
I blend the vibrant tropical colors of Maui with a soothing serenity, aiming to capture the calmness and to delight in the lush nature that surrounds me.
